These made to order copper anklets are made using 3.2mm copper bead chains. They are simple yet gorgeous. Each anklet is comfortable enough for daily wear, and fashionable for special occasions.
To choose your anklet size, you can measure your ankle using a soft tape measure. Whatever size your ankle is, add 1 inch so that your anklet is comfortable. For example, if your ankle measures 8 inches, you would order a size 9. If you don't have a soft tape measure, you can use ribbon or string. Wrap the string or ribbon around your ankle, then mark the point where it overlaps, measure the distance with a ruler, then add 1 inch for your anklet size.
Please note that the anklet is made using genuine copper bead chains, so it will naturally tarnish over time. While some people like the vintage look, others prefer their copper to stay shiny. I recommend using ketchup to remove the oxidation, as it contains vinegar and is acidic. Rub a small amount across the anklet for a few seconds or until you start to see a difference. Rinse with water, and if needed, add a little mild soap to remove any residue. Then, pat dry. You can also use a polishing cloth to clean your anklet. White vinegar and baking soda also clean oxidation.
